Work was a little slow, so I took off early today and made sure that with my extra time I got a little drawing in.
This is my Bosch Colt Palm router. Let me tell you, this thing is so sweet...as far as routers go. You have to hold it. The black curved area is a slightly spongy rubber grip that fits snuggly against the "palm" of your hand.
This will be in my next zine. Finally, making some progress!

router
This is my Ryobi plunge router. I haven't taken the time to sit down and work on a drawing that took more than a few minutes as of late. But, after an inspirational visit from friend Dan Price I decided to make time.
I've wanted to do another little zine for a long time, a series of my tools. So, this is another installment towards that goal.

domino
I know, I know, finally. I have become obsessed with a new hobby, it can be expensive, so I'm not sure if it will stick - woodworking. This is the Festool Domino - $700 (OUCH!). I don't own one. Its a crazy innovation taking the woodworking world by storm. Guess its kind of old news now. This was a drawing from a photo I snapped in a local woodworking store.

skill saw
My skill saw. Lots of projects now. The blade really is red...weird, huh? That's supposed to be the cord wrapped under the handle, but it didn't turn out very well. Leaves the handle looking a little ambiguous.
After my Construction Equipment Zine I had envisioned a series of tool drawings, which could possibly lead to another short series zine. I did my dust mask and drill and now...my skill saw.
I'm enjoying the markers. This wasn't colored with my new copics. All the black was colored and cross-hatched with my 0.5 Staedtler Pigment Liner, the gray was a Pitt Artist Pen, and the red was a Tombo Brush Marker.
